Biography

Sophie Walter is a Southern California born artist who received a BFA in Art Photography - College of Visual and Performing Arts with a minor in Food Studies- Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics and a minor in Art History- The College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University. Her work is centered around fashion and environmental portraiture, as well as mixed media with photo-collage and embroidery. Working with color theory, conceptual ideas about human perception, and the combination of thread and photography are themes displayed throughout Sophie's work.
